ABOUT
Christian Youth Camp was started in 1969 by Darvin and Jennifer Oakes on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau in Middle Tennessee, to serve as a place that ministers to children and shares the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The camp ministry began at Fall Creek Christian Campground in Spencer, Tennessee and has carried on until today. Serving girls and boys from ages 7-17, this non-denominational camp provides a week of overnight camp fun: meeting new friends, learning about God's creation, hiking, swimming, playing games, all while being taught truth from God's Word.

Joy Howell is the executive director of Aspire Ministires and also the daughter of Darvin and Jennifer Oakes. She and her family live in Upper East Tennessee and attend church at First Baptist Jonesborough.
